The founders of our country understood that a fresh start under federal law is so essential to the fiscal health and economic vitality of our country; they included the right to file bankruptcy in Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution.

Robert Marks

Mr. Marks was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 1988. He has also been admitted to the Eastern and Western U.S. District Courts of Texas. Since 1991, he has focused his practice primarily on consumer bankruptcy law and has practiced bankruptcy law exclusively since 1991.

He received his B.A. from Texas Christian University and his Juris Doctor in law from Texas Tech University School of Law. He is an original member of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association.
